Warranty

All hardscape materials (pavers, tiles, stones, turf etc.), walls, precast materials, irrigation systems, lighting, are guaranteed under the manufacturer’s warranty, and workmanship is guaranteed for 2 years. From date of installation, Glamscape guarantees your installation for a 2-year period under normal wear for which the installation was designed. Warranty does not include discoloration (efflorescence) of concrete based materials.

 

Trees and shrubs purchased at Glamscape is accompanied with a 1-year limited warranty. Newly installed landscape plants will suffer transplant shock, particularly during the hot summer months. It is imperative that plants receive proper care, to minimize stress. Upon installation or purchase it is then the responsibility of the owner to supply the plant with sufficient water and fertilizer (as needed) during their growing season (May to October) to keep them healthy. Trees and shrubs are warranted for 1 year from date of installation or purchase, and will be replaced once within the warranty period, should they die. Glamscape will make warranty replacements during the optimum planting seasons: spring and fall. Typically, replacements will take place between April 1st through June 30th and September 21st through November 30th.

 

Glamscape assumes no liability for replacement of plants killed or damaged by pests, insect infestation, pets or animals, abnormal weather conditions, or other conditions beyond Glamscape’s control, nor will Glamscape replace plants experiencing “seasonal die-back”, when pruning and proper care will restore them to health.

 

Glamscape cannot warranty against weed growth in mulch or topsoil beds, due to the germination of dormant seeds prevalent in the soil.

 

Glamscape may substitute product if originally installed product is not available. Replacement of a product does not renew the warranty period. This warranty assumes normal and reasonable use of products. This warranty does not cover any damage caused by occurrences beyond the control of Glamscape, including, but not limited to, overloading, impact, abrasion, commercial use, improper or insufficient maintenance, corrosion due to atmospheric contamination, poor soil, tree roots, changes in the water table, water main breaks, rips or tears in turf, burning or melting of turf (including from direct sunlight or reflections of sunlight), surface temperature of turf, or hard water deposits or other water marks on turf, mottling of pool plaster, scratching or scuffing of pavers, lack of traction on or slipperiness of joint sand stabilizers, or efflorescence in pavers and stonework. This warranty does not cover any damages caused by insects or animals, including, but not necessarily limited to, burrowing underneath surfaces and/or chewing through turf. Tampering with any products by other than Glamscape voids this warranty. This warranty is the only express warranty provided by Glamscape. This warranty shall be void and will not apply to any materials which were originally installed by Glamscape, then subsequently repaired, adjusted, or modified by an individual or entity other than Glamscape or its authorized representative. GLAMSCAPE HEREBY EXCLUDES AND DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BY WAY OF ILLUSTRATION AND NOT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, HABITABILITY, AND MERCHANTABILITY. THE LIMITED WARRANTIES CONTAINED HEREIN SHALL BE IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. Glamscape liability under this warranty is limited to the amounts received by Glamscape for services rendered under the sales. Contract. In no event shall Glamscape be obligated or liable for incidental, special, indirect, or consequential damages of any kind for the breach of any express or implied warranty.
